How to Make a Homemade Mobile Phone Projector
Have you ever wanted to watch a movie or video on a bigger screen than your mobile phone? Well, there is a simple and inexpensive solution – a homemade mobile phone projector. Not only is it fun to make, but it’s a great way to share videos or photos with friends and family.
Before we start, you will need a few things. Here is a list of the materials required:
- A shoebox
- A magnifying glass
- Electrical or duct tape
- A knife or scissors
- A smartphone
Step 1: Cut an opening on one side of the shoebox.
Using a knife or scissors, cut a rectangular-shaped hole on one side of the shoebox. Make sure the hole is big enough to fit your smartphone.
Step 2: Place a magnifying glass on the opposite end of the shoebox.
Using tape, attach the magnifying glass to the opposite end of the shoebox to form a lens. The concave side of the magnifying glass should face the opening you created in Step 1.
Step 3: Insert your smartphone into the shoebox.
Place your smartphone with the screen facing down into the opening you created in Step 1. Make sure the phone is centered and the entire screen is visible through the opening.
Step 4: Adjust the focus of the image.
With the phone playing a video or showing a picture, move the magnifying glass back and forth until the image is in focus.
Step 5: Enjoy your homemade mobile phone projector.
Turn off the lights, sit back, and enjoy your newly created DIY projector. You can even adjust the distance between the shoebox and wall to make the image bigger or smaller.
Just like that, you have made your very own homemade mobile phone projector. This is a great way to watch movies or share pictures with friends and family, plus it’s a great party trick. Get creative, experiment with different materials, or add features like speakers to enhance your viewing experience. Happy projecting! |
