First, you need to create a space in the cardboard box for the magnifying glass, which will magnify the phones screen image. Cut a hole in one end of the box that is slightly smaller than the magnifying glass diameter. Next, remove the magnifying glass holder and put it in the rim of the hole you made.
After fixing the magnifying glass, its time to cut another hole in the opposite end of the box to hold your phone. The hole should be the size of your phones screen. Its essential to make the right measurements; otherwise, your phone may not fit, or the projection image will not be accurate. Once you have the hole, glue the phone holders to the sides of the hole so that your phone stays in place.
Now that you have your phone and magnifying glass holders, glue a black cardboard over the other opening of the box to block any external light. You might also want to paint the inner walls of the box with black paint to reduce reflections and enhance the image quality.
Once everything is glued and painted, youre ready to use your phone projector. To use it, dim the lights or turn them off, and place your phone in the holder with the screen facing the magnifying glass. Move your phone back and forth until you get a focused and clear image. Make sure your phone is not too close, or the image will be too small, and not too far, or it will be out-of-focus.
