How to Make a Pinhole Projector Using a Cereal Box

Materials:
- A cereal box
- A piece of white paper
- A piece of aluminum foil
- A pin
- Scissors
- Tape
- Pen or pencil
Instructions:
1. Start by cutting off one of the longer sides of the cereal box, leaving three sides intact.
2. Cut a square hole in the center of the remaining side of the box, leaving at least an inch of space around the edges.
3. Cover the open square with the aluminum foil and tape it down, making sure its stretched tight.
4. Use the pin to poke a small hole in the center of the aluminum foil, being careful not to make the hole too big.
5. Tape the piece of white paper to the inside of the box, directly opposite the aluminum foil. Make sure its centered and flat, and tape the edges down securely.
6. Close the box and make a small hole on the top edge of the box, opposite the pinhole.
7. Hold the box up to the sun, making sure the pinhole is facing the sun. Youll see an upside-down image of the sun projected onto the white paper inside the box.
