How to Move Apps on Your Samsung Smart TV
With the increasing popularity of Smart TVs, many people are using these devices to stream content or access apps. Samsung Smart TVs are particularly well-known for their easy-to-use interface and wide variety of entertainment options. However, one common issue users encounter is moving apps around or customizing their layout. Fortunately, it’s a simple process once you know how.
Step 1: Navigate to the App menu.
First, turn on your Samsung Smart TV and navigate to the App menu. This menu is usually represented by an icon on the home screen that looks like a grid of small squares. Once you click on this icon, you’ll enter the App menu.
Step 2: Select the app you want to move.
In the App menu, locate the app you want to move. You can use the arrow keys on your remote to scroll through the available apps.
Step 3: Press and hold the center button on your remote.
Once you’ve selected the app, press and hold the center button on your remote. Keep holding it until the app icon becomes highlighted. This indicates that you’re now in “edit” mode, and you can move the app around or reposition it.
Step 4: Drag the app to its new location.
Using the arrow keys on your remote, navigate to the spot where you want to move the app. Once you’re in the right spot, use the directional buttons to drag the app icon to its new location. Once you’ve moved it to the desired position, release the center button on your remote.
Step 5: Exit edit mode.
Finally, press the back or exit button on your remote to exit edit mode. This will save your changes, and you’ll now see the app in its new location on the home screen.
Moving apps on your Samsung Smart TV is an easy task once you get the hang of it. With just a few clicks of the remote, you can customize your home screen to your liking and access your favorite apps with ease. So go ahead and give it a try – you’ll be a pro in no time! |
